We are located a 10 minute drive from the main road, this involves some narrow lanes and steep hills
The pub is closed on Mondays, not our fault we don't own it, everyone needs a day off!
The Field is nearly level in parts to camp on, not a bowling green.
We don't allocate pitches, we try to leave the field as natural as possible
There is a strict 11pm quiet rule.
This is a Dog friendly site we also like to hear kids play and have fun.
We are not a large commercial caravan site. so please dont expect one
Our facilities are basic and rustic, but kept very clean unless we have monsoon weather, then it gets a bit hard.
If everyone wants a shower at 10 am expect to queue for the two showers
We do not provide a reception area, evening entertainment, hard standings, EHU, we do not have a pool, unless you include puddles in the rain.
If someone decides to have a domestic and make noise, we will provide buckets of cold water to cool them off, but please don't hold us responsible.
We love feedback, but we cant change, our location, the weather, other peoples children, other peoples dogs, the lie of the land.
We do not give discounts we are cheap enough.
We are a basic site, in an outstanding area of views and beauty, with reasonable prices and a laid back attitude.
WHEN USING OUR SITE PLEASE REMEMBER
Whilst we make every effort to ensure our campsite and all it's faciltites is/are safe for it's users, we are located in a rural environment and we will not be liable for any injury, loss or damage to any property or person, child or pet including motor vehicles and personal effects, howsoever caused or sustained.
All play equipment is risk assessed reguarly, however it is for parents to decide whether they want their childeren to use any of the equipment available, therefore we will not be held responsible for any injury caused of any person using the play equipmnet on site.
We also do not accept responsibility for any damage, injury or inconvenience caused by plants, trees or wildlife or by out of our control weather conditions.
By staying here, visiting or using any of our facilities you do so under this agreement.
Terms & Conditions
We let a pitch to you with the expectation that you will follow the usual customs of good camping and We reserve the right to ask you to leave at any point of your stay if the behaviour of any member of your party is unacceptable to us and no refund of monies will be paid.
In peak and high seasons pitches are available from 12pm on the day your holiday commences. In value and low seasons you may arrive earlier. You must vacate by 12.00 am on the day of departure and leave the pitch in a clean and tidy state. Pitches offered are for one tent, motor home, caravan or camper van only, plus one vehicle.
You can have up to ten persons per pitch and book the extra persons per pitch. It is your responsibility to ensure that you can fit both your vehicle and unit on the pitch allocated to you. If you decide to bring extras, these must fit within the pitch.
NO REFUNDS ARE GIVEN EXCEPT and IF So are at the managements discretion or the cancellation is due to our own fault.
We require a NON REFUNDABLE deposit of 10% to secure your booking. Full payment of balance must be received 1 week before the holiday start date or the booking will be cancelled and deposit lost.
Bookings made over the phone must be confirmed by you in an email or letter. If not confirmed in this manner the management cannot take any responsibility for mistakes made.
Cancellation and Early Departure
No refund will be given to people cancelling their holiday within 1 weeks of the start date. The deposit is ALWAYS non-refundable. No part refund will be given to people leaving early for any reason.
The contract is with Ms Kate Dobson, Byelanes, Hennock, TQ13 9QD who will not be liable to any person visiting, for any personal injury, fatal or non fatal unless caused by a negligent act or omission by the company or its employees. Hennock Hideaways will not be liable for any injury, loss or damage to any property including, motor vehicles and personal effects, howsoever caused or sustained. Including any use of the play area and any equipment within it.
We ask that you take care of the pitch while you are our guests. If your ground sheet is not breathable please lift it every day. If you stay for more than 7 nights, please move your tent/caravan to another area of the pitch in order to reduce wear and tear on the ground.
Bricks for barbecues to prevent grass damage are available for you to use. The use of generators is not permitted on site. Cutting or damaging trees and other vegetation is strictly prohibited and the natural conditions are not to be disturbed.
You must pitch as directed by the ground staff, not encroach upon any other pitches and consider fire risk limitation, safety and access. If you pitch outside the boundaries of your pitch or your unit is judged to pose a risk to the safety and comfort of others you will be asked to move.
We allow a maximum of 10 people per pitch. If maximum occupancy is exceeded, then two pitches must be booked.
We are not able to accept bookings from single sex parties of more than 5 or from unaccompanied persons under the age of 18. If we see a group forming, we will ask you to leave and no refund of monies will be paid.
We regret that the weather is not in our control and we cannot refund any money due to adverse weather conditions.
Only one vehicle is allowed per pitch. Extra vehicles incur an extra charge and may not be able to be parked next to your pitch. We do not allow commercial vehicles on site.
Alteration to bookings
Where possible we will endeavour to accommodate your needs. Bookings cancelled due to an inability to accommodate last minute changes will not receive a refund.
We try to accommodate your needs but we cannot guarantee a specific pitch.
Some amenities may be restricted according to demand at the beginning and end or the season.
You must ensure children in your party are properly supervised at all times, in all areas of the park, including the play area. The area is for under 14 only. We ask that unaccompanied children do not wander around other areas of the farm.
If you bring a dog, this remains your responsibility at all times and not left unattended. Dogs are not allowed in the or the play area. Dog’s fouling must be cleaned up immediately and disposed of safely. Failure to do so will result in your party being asked to leave the farm.
Bins are provided for your day-to-day rubbish. Please do not use them to leave broken equipment, groundsheets, surfboards etc. We pay to have our rubbish collected and so a £50 fine will be given to anyone found doing this.
Please check invoices and confirmation emails carefully. Any mistakes not brought to our attention will not be the responsibility or the management.
Your booking includes one tent/motor home/caravan. All extra tents/toilet tents/ awnings/storage tents etc. will be charged and permission must be given before erection, usually via email or letter if requested.

The Company and its employees accept no liability for any accident, injury, loss or damage to any persons or property occupying or using any part of the park, however caused. Any person in breach of the booking conditions or park rules, may, at the discretion of the management, be asked to leave. No refund will be given. Any person causing offence to other guests at the park may, at the discretion of the management, be asked to leave. No refund will be given. Any decision made Hennock Hideaways management is final
If there is a problem or dissatisfaction with any matters under our control, please notify us immediately, so we may have the opportunity to rectify issues. We cannot accept liability in relation to any claim of whatever nature if you fail to notify us within seven days from the end of your stay with us.
